A warm hat that has an elegant look is perfect for fall and the cold weather of winter. This pattern is a nice one that seems easy to understand. I think the 'mini' brim adds appeal to the hat. It would be a special gift for Christmas too. It would be sweet with a brooch attached or interchangeable flowers. I love it.

This brim hat is adorable! I have to confess that I'm not much of a wearer of hats but my eldest daughter is known for wearing a hat! It's become her signature style you might say! I haven't worked with chunky yarn for awhile so I think I might create this one for my daughter. There are soooooo many options in embellishing this cute hat it's mind boggling! But I think I'll leave it simple as is so my daughter can add her touch!

The one skein brim hat has a mini brim which makes it look like a cloche and I absolute adore cloches. I agree they never go out of style. It is awesome that it doesn't take more than one skein. I also love that the flower , which can be made detachable if you want. You could also change the flower or make a bunch of detachable flowers that you could switch out when the mood strikes you.

Some things never go out of style as the one-skein brim hat shows. This is a lovely hat to crochet using bulky yarn and very easy to do. The hat can be embellished any way you like. I appreciate the fact that there is a PDF version that prints on one page. Love that economy!

Such a cute little hat that will be quick and easy to make. I like that it starts at the top and finishes with the brim. The flowers add just enough pizazz and they could be changed to go with an outfit. The pattern is for a small but with a change in hook size and maybe the yarn used it could be made larger.
