I just love this Berries Jubilee Hat. I love it for its color scheme, design, and yarn used. I also like it for its style.

I can tell by looking at the hat that it is very textured, fairly loose and extra stretchy. Probably the 5 double crochets which make up the "shell" . For me, I usually choose to go up one in the hook size when I am doing decorative edging on anything. This set is adorable and the person lucky enough to receive it will adore wearing it, I am sure.

I have gotten stuck on making beanies just lately and am having a blast creating them. The only thing I have wanted was a couple of different patterns to use and what do you know there was a whole bunch right here! I like this pattern because it is colorful and has a different rhythm to it.

This hat matches the Berries Jubilee Infinity Scarf, so by making both projects, youll have plenty of practice in making shells. The pattern is very simple, nicely repetitive, and takes a minimum amount of time. Try the pattern in other shades of variegated yarn. I have a Super Saver Autumn that I just love as it makes this set looks like falling leaves. My son wanted one worked up in camo, too.
