Flower Pot Hanging Basket

Do you want to have a few indoor plants, but you're a little short on space? The Flower Pot Hanging Basket is to the rescue! This crochet basket can be hung from your ceiling near a sunny spot, freeing up your floor space for other items. You could also use this design to store smaller items that always seem to be underfoot. This crochet pattern is easy to make and can be created in a short period of time while watching your favorite TV show. Consider using yarn in a neutral color when making this design.

This is perfect for my hanging plants! I have a small spider plant that needs some special attention, and this is just the thing. Since I plan for this to be outside, one major change Ill make is to work it up using paracord instead of yarn or jute. You can find paracord in a variety of colors now, but Ill stick with my Army surplus store green to blend with my plants.

This is actually a very clever idea and it is one that I have never thought of before. This is very reminiscent of the macram hanging plant holders of the 70s and 80s. I think that I would rather make mine out of cotton yarn to reduce the stretching and sagging from the weight of the plants.

This crochet flower pot pattern really takes me back to my macram days! I love the mesh look! I have a bunch of kitchen cotton yarn that I think would work great for this pattern. These would be great to hang around inside my house, as well as outside my house. On my To Do list!
