This simple yet adorable crochet animal pattern is the perfect gift for an ocean-lover or new mom with a seaside-themed baby shower. From the Blogger:
"I recently had an order for some hats that would match Little Whale Bedding by Migi. As I was looking at the bedding for inspiration I was struck with the desire to make a little amigurumi whale to add as an extra little gift. I know that my customer will be thrilled with it and that the mom to be will love it even more! I’m not sure if this little guy fits in with the rules of amigurumi since I’ve never followed any ami patterns before, but he is fun and easy to make! He took me about 3 hours but that was with frequent breaks to take care of my little one and taking my time writing the pattern out. I have no idea how long he will take the next time, but I definitely plan on making more soon!"

Selling this little guy for a retail price of $28 means a really good profit for you! Wow! I guess I sells my goods for way under market value. I sell a lot to friends and friends of friends, so i am always wanting to give them a deal. What a cute idea for a baby shower.

What a sweet little toy. We are expecting new baby girl this fall, and I think Im going to work this up for her in pink and purple. Its never too early to get started on those Princess colors. This is the perfect little crib toy, and since it uses so little yarn, you can make an entire pod from one skein. Or use up your scraps and create a variety of colors.

Oh what a little cutie. I love adding something like this to any baby outfit I make. I usually place some jingle bells inside do the little one can use it like a rattle. This is a very simple pattern that won't take long to complete. Thank you for sharing it.
