This is a very simple stitch yet looks anything but simple. It's very pretty. People think I am Cra y crocheting a coat here in Florida. But it's going north for Christmas to keep a newborn warm. Best thing is, they didn't want to know what they are having so this will go with either.

This Woodland Newborn Coat is so dainty, it would look great on both baby girl or baby boy. The use of neutral colors white and cream allows it to be worn by baby girl or baby boy. I love the stitches used on the bodice and the light brown string under them. Will also look pretty in soft pastel colors.

This is such an adorable little sweater! I love the addition of the tiger applique. It would make such a unique baby shower gift.

Cute, cute, cute! I am loving the idea of this overcoat/sweater! I appreciate the additional pieces that are available to crochet to make up a complete set, in case you're looking for a handmade project to give for a baby shower. Baby sized crochet projects are so fun to work up. They work up fast and you get that near instant gratification.
