"This fast and simple crochet toy would make a perfect and unique baby gift! This pattern features a large, plush picnic basket that can be filled with a juice bottle, bunch of grapes and watermelon. Details can be added with non-toxic puffy paint to make this pattern truly baby friendly! This toy is educational, and encourages play with fine motor skills. This pattern uses Bernat Blanket Brights however colors of Bernat Blanket or Bernat Baby Blanket yarn could easily be substituted."
Crochet HookN/15 or 10 mm hook
Yarn Weight(6) Super Bulky/Super Chunky (4-11 stitches for 4 inches)

- Bernat Blanket Yarn in colors: White, Taupe, Race Car Red, Carrot Orange, Go Go Green, and Pow Purple
- Size N/P (10.0 mm) crochet hook (I used Clover Amour)
- Plastic yarn needle
- Non-toxic puffy paint

One of the great joys of toddlerhood is dumping things out. As every mom knows, this doesnt necessarily translate to putting things back in. Why not spare the valuables and give them this toy instead? Nothing to break, and completely washable. Preschoolers would love this, too. Theyre just at the age where their imaginations are starting to kick in, and pretending is a crucial skill to learn.
