The pineapple is a very popular stitch in crochet. I have found it made into a cardigan, an afghan, a blanket, a shawl, a bag, and a table cloth. And this, a baby dress. The pineapple stitch is very versatile and easy to execute. It also look great in any color of project.

The pineapple stitch has been around for decades. It was originally used on table clothes and doilies. My mom had them all over the house. I use to love looking at them. I never thought that some day I would be making a dress for my grand daughter using it.

I really enjoy making crochet pineapple patterns. It really isn't that hard to do. This would be a cute dress for anytime of year. It would be adorable as a jumper with a turtleneck shirt and leggings underneath it. It's so cute and versatile I could make a couple of them for my granddaughter. I've actually crocheted two colors into pineapples in the past and this could be really cute in red and white for Christmas time.

Wow, I love the look of this Pineapple Cascade Baby Dress! The Pattern from Kim is so well written and easy to follow I can't wait to make one. I like the idea of making something that can be used as a dress for a baby or a top for a older child. I'm looking forward to making this one and hope it works, I just need to follow the pattern. I like her idea of printing out the pattern and marking where you leave off. Best way to know for a pattern where every row is different. Now I need to find the yarn and choose a color. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet pattern.

I dont have any little ones, but I have a couple of crochet projects already started for little ones of all ages. I figure I can just store them away for a rainy day whenever I need a quick handmade from the heart gift. This baby dress is too cute. It is next on my to make list.
