Easy Done In A Day Baby Blanket

"This baby blanket crochet pattern is about as easy as it gets. As long as you can chain and double crochet, you can whip up one of these easy baby blankets yourself. Feel free to change up the colors and customize for either gender or to go with the nursery decor. This baby afghan pattern makes the perfect baby shower gift. The pattern uses chunky yarn so it works up quickly. SKILL LEVEL: EASY MATERIALS: Hook: U.S. L/8.00mm Size 5 Bulky Weight Yarn – I used Loops and Threads Charisma in the photos (93 yds each ball) – 4 balls of White, 2 balls of Denim and 2 balls of Taupe Darning Needle & Scissors."

I like the striped design but Im not overly fond of the color scheme. Not exactly what I think of for babies, but it would be just fine as a lapghan. Lapghans are generally about the same size as a baby blanket, and its so nice to find a pattern that would be suitable for a man. I have plenty of lapghan patterns for ladies, but not so many for a fellow.

This crochet baby blanket is about as easy as it gets. If you can chain and double crochet, you can whip up one of these blankets yourself. You can even change up the colors and customize for either gender or to go with the nursery decor. So cute and so easy!
