Yes, I agree. These men's hats are very easy to make. You can make several in one sitting. You may give them out to your men friends or sell them or give them to charity. But they are indeed perfect for winter.

My sister gave me some Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick Quick yarn in gray marble. It is a Super Bulky 6 weight yarn. Perfect for this Quick Easy Mens Hat pattern. I am always doing womens and girls crocheted items. It would be nice to have some mens items as well. Cant wait to get started.

This is the link to the full pattern http//www.homemadehatsbycheryl.com/my-blog/quick-e == asy-mens-hat . The hat is worked in super bulky yarn #6 from Lion Brand. This hat works up quickly and makes a durable and warm hat for the guys. Since the yarn is so bulky and this hat is for men, you may want to use a hook that is a couple of sizes bigger.

thank you siouxzan1

What a great pattern! With super chunky (or even regular chunky) this works into a nice hat in a short amount of time. If you're short on time what a great pattern to make! And with a slight variation like changing colors he could have a hat to match his favorite team or school colors. Would you add another row or two to make the fold-over part larger?

I have a couple of balls of beautiful blue regular chunky yarn just waiting for this pattern! It looks simple and no nonsense and that's my sons too. Nicely written pattern. Good idea about the colors! I was wondering about the extra rows as well....what you suggested makes sense but I'm a newbie at this!
