I sent a question but I wasn't very clear. I meant to ask if a long hook needs to be used for the Tss?

I notice that you are using a long hook. Does a long hook need to be used?

I think both Lisa and Beth's videos on Tunisian Simple Stitch were very informative and easy to follow. I am going to try to do this stitch today! Thanks

I barely know anything about crochet, but the visual and the exceptional explanation made this quite clear!!

How nice to have two demonstrations by different crocheters! I'm a visual learner and each instructor gave some slightly different tips on doing an afghan stitch. All Free Crochet is such a great resource. Thank you all!

Iv always wondered how the afghan stitch was made thank you 4 teaching it

Beth Ham , bravo. I enjoyed your technique and patience pace.

I have never heard of Tunisian crochet, but I like the demonstration and I am eager to try the stitches. I like this website. It help to see an demonstration first then read the patterns.

I have tried this stitch before from reading the how to but these videos really helped me see how it was done. Bravo to both these ladies. I discovered this stitch 30 years ago but couldn't perfect it until now with this video. It is the perfect background to put cross-stitch patterns on too. I was given a hot-pad decorated with cross-stitch in this style. Thank you once again for the videos.

would like to see an instruction video for left-handers!!

pretty cool stitch....I have never seen or heard of it before; will definitely have to give it a try soon! thank you for the great tutorial!
