I'm sure this would be a lovely pattern for either barrettes or the tablecloth, but using a little tiny crochet hook made of steel is something that younger readers may want to try. I don't see that well unless I have my magnefiers on and with my arthritis in my hands it makes it hard to hold a steel crochet hook unless it's no smaller than a 00 or 0.

I have slip on covers for my hooks that make it much easier to hold and use them. You can buy them at Annie's or Herrschners.
