As ad adult, I would not wear this bag on a daily basis, but I would for a fun night on the town. It would certainly be a conversation starter. It looks like something that would be a great seller at a renaissance craft fair table. I think the young girls would like it, as well. I have not YET mastered that dragon scale/crocodile tears stitch yet!

I can completely see the rationale of naming this pattern Scale and Shell, but it really reminds me more of a ballerina tutu than anything else. Worked up in pink and purple, wouldnt this be adorable as a bag for dance class? Its the perfect size for packing along your Capezios, and maybe a juice box or other snack for after class.
