This Crochet Beach Tote Bag is so appropriate to bring to the beach. It is light, airy, colorful and stylish. You can conveniently carry it around containing your personal stuff including maybe a sunscreen, shades, wallet, cellphone, and other things. Enjoy the beach.

This is an awesome beach tote. I made one for my sister-in-law last summer. The pattern instructions were spot on and I had no problem making this. I used these exact colors and everybody still raves about how good it looks. This is a great pattern and the bag is big enough to hold a lot of larger beach items.

I appreciate that tip by the poster below regarding using slip stitches all along the length of the straps. I honestly never thought of that. I will tell you of something new I learned regarding straps. If you add/weave a thick ribbon through the stitches of your handle it will take the weight off the strap. The colors of this bag are so summery and lively. Stripes are my current favorite pattern, too, especially for summer!

I love the look of this tote bag. The variation of stitches and colour really make it stand out. I can think of many uses for this bag. If you are concerned about the handle / strap stretching out on it, work a row of slip stitches along each edge lengthwise. It really helps.
