"I have designed a stunning new bag, using the new Red Heart Super Saver Ombre yarn, and I just love it! It's an all-purpose kind of bag, perfect for heading to the beach, or the farmers market! Also makes a fantastic project bag for those on the go projects, or even stashing baby and kids essentials. Lots of texture, created with simple, but beautiful stitch patterns, so this is a great project for newbies and pros alike!"

This Ocean-Serenity Bag is absolutely drop dead gorgeous! I am in love with the ombre yarns and really can't wait to get my hands on some! This bag is my perfect starting point as I really like the way the color changes up gradually from bottom to top of the bag. I can see so many uses for this bag like holding fruit and veggies from the farmer's market that starts next weekend in our small town. Throw in a beach towel, sunscreen, a paperback novel, water bottle and you're ready for the beach or park. Cool idea JaneEK about the matching hat too!

What princess6860504 said!!! Ive seen that blue ombre yarn in the shops, but never felt inspired to pick any up. Well, this project has changed all that. This bag is just gorgeous, and I know exactly who is getting this one. Not only that, but since the bag is worked in the round, it would be a snap to make a matching hat using the exact same stitch sequence.

WOW, this bag is stunning the way the blue shades meld together from lightest to darkest, in such a serene way, with the stitches working up resembling ocean waves. Congratulations for coming up with this beautiful and unique pattern. This will be a go-to bag for each and every summer! Guess I will have to wait until next summer now... fall is on the horizon. Oh! I am loving the budget friendly yarn!
