Sydney Granny Square Crochet Bag
"This beautiful easy granny square crochet bag is practical, useful and a gorgeous DIY crochet project. If you have a soft spot for granny squares this is the project for you. Not only do granny squares represent the original crochet nostalgia but granny square projects always seem to finish so much faster than other crochet projects! In this crochet bag, approximately half are granny squares and the other half are made from simple plain squares. The change in pattern gives the bag a beautiful aesthetic look in addition to being sturdy and practical. Long crocheted handles are directly crocheted on to the main body of the bag. We suggest using cotton to ensure the bag is strong and durable and for this version, we used mercerized cotton. It gives strength, structure and a beautiful sheen. This is an easy and free crochet design pattern that will help you create a crochet bag you will keep using for years to come."
