I love the stitch texture on the bag, but I have to admit, those handles look a little skimpy for the loads I usually carry. I would go with either thicker rope handles like in her Knotted Rainbow Tote or make the handles an integral part of the bag like her Day At the Beach Bag. Both projects can be found at the bottom of her page.

I too, usually look at the handles in a crocheted tote bag right at the start. It can literally make or break that tote bag! These handles are not my favorite, but I suppose if you are just transporting a bouquet of flowers and maybe some fresh herbs- nothing to worry about. The design is a beautiful neutral color blocked look, which you can of course customize to your liking.
