Pop Culture Amigurumi Patterns

By: Jeanette Benoit, Editor, AllFreeCrochet

Crochet GrootThere are so many different places to find inspiration when it comes to crochet. From the food you eat to the movies you watch, the pattern possibilities are literally endless.

Some of my personal favorite things to crochet are the things inspired by pop-culture. I admit, I am a pop culture junkie, so this makes sense. I pay attention to celebrity headlines, I see all the hot blockbuster movies when they are in theaters, and I grew up playing video games. I even have a huge appreciation for Star Wars. How can anyone resist those adorable ewoks? Amigurumi patterns make it easy to re-create some of my favorite characters, such as these Insanely Cute Ponies. They look just like the My Little Ponies I had growing up!

Find more amigurumi patterns below. You will find some of our most popular amigurumi patterns inspired by the pop culture world. There's a great variety to choose from, too; you'll find amigurumi patterns for both boys, girls, and even some for adults.
