Wow! What a darling bow headband pattern! I have a daughter who teaches ballet and she always tries to keep their costumes simple and inexpensive. These would be perfect made up in fuschia With Love Metallic for the little girls in their pink tutoos and leotards up on the stage. That way they could keep them and wear their good memories all year long!

I am a very happy hooker now that I have found the pattern for this adorable bow headband. Love her use of the glittery yarn. I have some leftover yarn with glitter in it. My colors are black and gray. I think those would make awesome headbands also, especially the black.

I love this simple headband and have worked up several in both cotton and acrylic yarns. I have made most of mine wider than the suggested 8 rows, but thats personal preference. I also start with a shorter chain than the adult pattern to allow for the extra stretch. The designer gives tips on adjusting the pattern for toddlers and children as well as examples of other designs that can be worked into the original pattern.
