From the blogger: "This cute little bee is a beautiful crochet project for Valentine’s Day. Easy and fun to make! To make this applique, just crochet hearts according to the instructions and then sew them together as shown in the picture. Finished Size: Bee Applique is about 2-1/2 inches. Materials needed: cotton crochet thread size 10 in black, yellow, red and white colors, crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm, and black 11/0 glass seed beads or beads of your choice for the eyes. Enjoy your Bee!"
Crochet Hook6 or 1.8 mm hook (steel)
Yarn Weight(0) Lace (33-40 stitches to 4 inches). Includes crochet thread.

I have seen her work before and loved it. I made a flamingo from a pattern she posted. The body was also a heart. This little guy is done entirely in hearts. What could be easier. Thanks for sharing this cute, easy different project. I am going to make sure the ones I love I want to Bee their Valentine !

I am in a local beekeeping group, and one of the older ladies comes to almost every meeting with some type of bee-related jewelry. Im making one of these up and attaching a broach back to it. I know shell be both surprised and thrilled. Meanwhile, Im also thinking of other projects where I can use this adorable appliqu.

Adorable! This can be made quickly and would be cute to add to a Valentine card! This would also look cute as a magnet! I love that the pattern is done in heart shapes, and it's small enough to be used as a pin for jewelry. Kids would love making this as a Valentine's Day project.
