I was frustrated, the instructions say DC, and I followed them. Went to follow the video to see how to do the bill, because both rows 9 and 10 said to switch to the smaller hook, and I wanted to be sure to do it at the right row, and the video was for HDC, not DC. The hat as written was ungainly and disappointing. Super clever idea, I'm happy for the folks who've found success with it.

Baseball season has already started for this year. You still have time to get this made and have baby wear it during one of the games. Remember to take lots of pictures! Hope your team goes to the World Series.

Is this not the cutest thing. My husband played baseball for the Navy when he served and even though we did not have any boys, the girls would have had to wear this just for Dad during the time he played ball.

This is such a cute pattern! I definitely love the fact that it's geared towards little boys! I wish I had known how to crochet when my boys were babies, I would have made this for them! My husband is a major baseball fan, and he would love this for our baby!

There are so many adorable patterns for baby girls that it is a true joy to find something for boys. My latest crop of grandbabies are all boys, so this will make a nice change of pace from pink! I love the red stitch detailing and how the cap looks like the original design, too. Now I just need to figure out how to incorporate certain team colors.

This is one of the easiest diaper cover patterns I have ever found. I have used it many times. I have changed colors and made them for character sets or colors to match baby blankets. I just recently made a black and pink mouse set using this. If you are looking for a simple easy pattern , try it.
