Too cute. Back in the day I could have seen my "berry" special bundles coming home from the hospital adorned with a berry baby hat as this. One of my favorite colors is purple so my bundle would have been a grape-able berry baby.

I would like to think the donor of this baby berry hat on how to make this in larger sizes. Some babies need a little larger hat for the cranium at birth and would like to make sure it can be worn for a little while. Winter babies need all the warm stuff you can make for them.

This is so cute and so very versatile . Not only can you make it as it is shown, but think of an all orange hat with green leaves for Halloween . Or all red as an apple? Someone asked me if I ever make any patter as it is shown or do I always customize them? That's what crocheting is all about! Ideas! Imagination and creative genius!
