"This all over shell stitch is a pretty design, it is worked over 2 rows. The materials I used for the swatches were a light worsted #3 yarn (double knitting for the UK crocheters) on a 4.50mm crochet hook, you can use whichever hook size your pattern requires and the appropriate yarn for your project. The stitch looks lovely when done in a combination of colours and can be used for various items like blankets, shawls, scarves, hats etc. "
