This pattern is what I call a double duty clothing article. Now, I personally could get away with wearing this as a skirt but it is way to short for a dress for me. However, with a pair of leggins, I may be able to rock it as a tunic type shirt. I love this design. Thanks for sharing.

This convertible crochet pattern is a great project because it will yield a clothing article than can be worn in two ways. The option to wear as a dress is my favorite but I would love to have something other than a string to keep it in place. Maybe I would use it as a swim suit cover up over just a dress. Great project.

This dress/halter top uses sport weight yarn for a light weight feel. I see this in my fall wardrobe, worn over a pair of black or tonal brown leggings and booties! It is also a great bridal piece for that beach wedding, in my opinion. You could probably make this using a white or subtle ivory cotton yarn.

I love this designer. She has a ton of great free patterns. I also love designs like do double duty, like this convertible dress/skirt that can be worn in different ways or used for different things. It definitely makes a good use of your yarn and also gives you more wardrobe options
