This cute totes measurements show that it is approximately sixteen inches including handles, which I am guessing probably puts the actual tote around twelve inches give or take? I assume that it stretches out as you add stuff to it. Has anyone made this that could share how much this actually does hold?

Who would bring shells to the beach. Why I would of course, with this beautiful surfside crochet bag. You get this beautiful color change with the Lily Sugar 'n Creams Stripes in violet stripes so that makes the design that much easier to work with. I had a change to look at the other colors offered and I think I am partial to the natural stripes.

This is great for the beach excursions! Wide and roomy and can stuff a lot into it. I also love the colors selections. From spring to summer you can get a lot of use from this sun and surfside crochet bag.

Pretty! Pretty! Pretty! I love the pretty pattern on this Sun-and-Surfside Crochet Bag! The colors are so ocean too! I can sure see throwing in the sunscreen, a beach towel, sunglasses, water bottle and a pair of flip flops and heading to the beach. Too bad I live soooo far away from the beach! But I can also see this carrying my latest book, a pair of sunglasses, and the sunscreen for a fun afternoon at the city park. Either way works and you can't beat a terrific bag like this one!!!

I love the unusual shell pattern on this bag. It looks complicated but its really, really easy to work. There arent any photos or instructional videos but the text is clear enough. If you do choose to work this pattern, I would strongly advise that you download the .pdf or print off the pattern. Its a little tricky going between rounds, but if you change colors like the example, its actually easier to follow.

I have seen lots of tote bags on this site today and no two are alike. I didnt realize that there were so many different ways to construct a tote. This is a great tote if you are headed to the beach for a day of fun and sun. Throw in a towel, some sunscreen, and a book and you have it.

Once upon a time, a few years ago, I was making and selling market bags and beach bags made from the Lily Sugar 'N Cream. My customers went crazy over them, and the purples were always the favorite...along with neutrals. This bag is way cuter than the ones that I made! I like the shell stitch being used for a beach bag. Get it?

Just looking at this bag makes me want to go to the beach! I love this combination of colors it makes me think of a mermaid!
