These women's quick and easy slipper socks are just the thing to add to the Christmas stocking. During the winter months around my house the first thing to get cold are the feet. These will help keep those little toes warm when gliding over those hard wood floors and be stylish at the same time.

Absolutely! And if you need to make them non-slip, you can add a little bit of hot glue or puffy paint across the bottom.

I know at my house if you do not get slippers for the holiday you must have been on the naughty list. Have you priced some of them in the store though? To me, this is an economical way to be sure all the ladies in the house get a pair of slipper socks without breaking the bank. Using Red Heart Super Saver to boot will allow them all to get two pairs.

I love this! Giving handmade slippers away as gifts is one of my favorite things to do, especially my little cousins - they get so excited!

Hard to believe that a pair of slippers can be crocheted in just under two hours but it is true! The pattern is easy to follow, even if the TV is on in the background as a mild distraction. I love being able to crochet something like these socks so quickly!

I was going to say, I don't crochet with anything but the TV on, but I do have the radio on sometimes. It for sure is a good project to work on even when other things are happening.

How wonderful to have all these different sizesa total of nine in all! Im always looking for projects that both work as stash busters as well as charity donations. This project will allow me to include a pair of slipper socks along with a hat or shawl. The first pair I made was sent (along with a lap robe) to my elderly aunt in Texas. It was so nice to be able to fit them to size.

That is so wonderful! I have had several women contact me saying they make these for people in nursing homes and hospice. I love that! I now have Men's sizes and Kid's sizes available )

These look super cozy! I love purple, so these are right up my alley. I could see myself wearing these all day on a lazy Sunday.

Lazy Sunday? Lazy everyday - ha! When it's chilly out, these are my favorite to put on, and wear around the house.
