"The Tropical Breeze Wrap is lightweight and perfect for cool evenings in the summertime! You can substitute any Red Heart Super Saver Yarn (Regular, Stripes or Ombre) to crochet this project. The Tropical Breeze Wrap would also make a great stashbuster project. The wrap is crocheted in rows, all in one piece, from the top down. The finished dimensions are 57 inches wide by 20.5 inches tall. After making this shawl you will have enough yarn left over to make the Double Crossed Hat in sizes Child or Smaller too!"

Bright colors used are attractive and alive but they are not really my preferred colors. This is more appropriate for a tweenie or a teenager.

Another one to add to my collection! I live in tropical North Queensland so shawls are a must for the "winter", and this looks gorgeous!

Love this pattern. The colors are so brilliant and bright. The super saver stripes yarn is very hard to find. None of the local stores carry it, but luckily I found it on Amazon. This must be a very new yarn so hopefully my stores will get it in stock soon because I would like to the different colors in person before I pick a shade.

An aptly named wrap, made with some very inexpensive yarn- just what I like. Although, I'd probably chose my Caron Simply Soft ombre stripe or painters stripe yarn for this since the Red Heart Super Saver is a tad bit scratchy and might not feel too great against the skin on a summer evening. The pattern is basically a series of crochets and skipped crochets. Easy-peasy!

I'm in love with the colors of this wrap! I also really like the detail of the scalloped edge. It's the perfect thing to throw over your shoulders on a cool summer night!
