Winter Wonderland 17 Winter Patterns to Crochet

Once the first snow falls and completely covers the ground we know it's officially here: winter. The air is crisp, our noses are frozen and we can see our breath in the air along with our footprints in the snow. While the children play and build snowmen some think these beautiful winter wonderlands are a hassle. Of course driving in the snow is no fun, but since the winter season lasts a while we might as well live it up. Let's brighten our spirits with some fabulous winter patterns to crochet.

What's Inside

Crochet Mittens and Gloves
Crochet mittens are essential to have during the winter season if you live in a climate where temperatures reach below freezing. Although it's much easier to buy a pair of crochet gloves, it's much more satisfying to know that you made them yourself. Following detailed crochet instructions you can end up with a beautiful pair.

All Grown Up Arm Warmers - Whoever thought up this type of crochet winter pattern is brilliant. These crochet mittens are fingerless allowing you to do your tasks while keeping you warm at the same time. Designs that look pretty and are functional at the same time are fabulous.

Cold Weather Patterns and Sets
We don't just have to celebrate the winter outdoors. Bring the winter wonderland inside your home with decor! Whether we want to fill our homes with snowmen, snowflakes or coasters we have ideas that will put a smile on your face. What's great about crocheting winter patterns is that we can bring them out every year to swoon over.

Snowflake and Cookie Coaster - Get the fabulous design of a snowflake while preventing rings on your table. This coaster is unique in that you can felt it once you're done crocheting it. Winter patterns like this can be given as house warming gifts or even used as stocking stuffers around the holidays.

Never think it's too early to start working on Fall and Winter projects. You will close your eyes for a minute and suddenly Christmas will be here. I have a large box in my closet that I put items I make thru the year. That way I am not overwhelmed come the holidays!

NEED PATTERN L50146

Tried this craft? What did you think?

Made

There is a scarf and mittens set that is featured in this eBook. It makes use of the Bernat Softee Chunky yarn, and just 4 balls of it as well! The scarf has a lovely textural look. The mittens are more plain. So, they do not really match, but rather- the coordinate. I'd make a slouchy beanie to go along with it!

'Tis almost the season. I can't wait to try these patterns.

I lost my favorite scarf this weekend and was cruising the site looking for something I could work up quickly. This collection had so many great patterns to choose from. THANKS!

I really liked the All Grown Up Arm Warmers. The multiple photos illustrated how to create the pinstripe effect. I also liked the tips for how to crochet mittens. Ive never tried them before, and the photos do inspire a lot of confidence. The Berry Beret with matching wrist warmers are cute, too. I can find a lot of uses for the snowflake appliqu, too. Not every winter pattern has to be about Christmas.

What a great find for me. I can use almost every pattern I need in this book. And I got it for free thank so on your generousity. I need things for babies, adults and everyone in between. I have family in the north so sending these solves two problems. They will keep warm and my creations won't get broken in shipping

I love mittens but have never crocheted them. I am unsure about creating the thumb, there the less the beginner mitten pattern will also be on my do to list for next year.

On my To-Do list from this Ebook is that supercute Snowman cap, followed by the Snowy Ridges cap-so simple but perfect for Christmastime!. The beginner mittens-I'm going to try stripes. And the home decor His First Snowman, so cute! AND the snowman pattern that follows! Tons of good patterns here!

I am looking for purses to crochet for the lil girls in church and toddler purses also ty excellent

I have downloaded it and it is fine. I am using Google Chrome which always cautions me on every single thing I download (just in case, I think).

I own an Apple and I didn't have any problems with downloading. Thanks for the patterns! I've been a crochet fool this winter!! I made the snowman hat and it is adorable, and easy!!

Hi skpugh12 and dutchessd, that message may just be precautionary, you should not have any problems downloading the eBook as is. Thanks!

Why is this not a safe file to download?? This concerns me.

This is a warning to let you know that ANY file you download to your computer may be harmful. I get this message every time I download through Chrome. It is normal to receive this message. This message does not mean a file your downloading from a site you trust is bad just to watch what you download. BTW the download worked fine for me... no warnings from my anti-virus so I assume it is good.

Why am I getting a warning that this is not a safe file to download into my computer

I think it would be a good book to learn from.
