You can always count on the Crochet Crowd to come up with some novel ways to use the same old stitches. The actual pattern is quite short because once you establish your initial row, you work Rows 2 through 5 over and over until you get the scarf the length that you want. I do like the rainbow effect of the yarn, but if you really want to show off the texture of the stitches, opt for a darker solid like olive or burgundy.
