The Studio Stipe Scarf

"This beautiful textured scarf will keep the wearer super warm over the colder months. Made with a simple stitch pattern and striped colour work, this project is great for beginners or regular crocheters who are looking for an easy “couch project”. The pattern can be worked with almost any yarn and suitable hook. Or you can change up the colours to add a personal touch. This scarf is a joy to make and would make an ideal gift for him (we all know how difficult those are to find!) or her, of just to treat yourself!"

I would love to pic a couple of yarn colors from the Loops and Threads Impeccable line- a main color and a contrast. It comes in so many trendy colors, the yarn works up surprisingly soft for a budget yarn, and they resist pilling. I have a queen sized blanket I made which is draped on the back of my sofa that I use quite often and it's holding up nicely! For this scarf, I don't mind telling you that I have not ever done the extended double crochet before. Interesting concept and not at all hard to do- it almost comes naturally. Fringe would be a good option here, too!
