As soon as I saw the photo of this project, I wondered what yarn they used and took a guess. Turns out I was right, because thats the same technique Ive used in working with the FunFur type of yarn. Holding the two yarns together does give the cowl a really lush feel but look around as you might find a single yarn that works as well. Some of the new blanket yarns are interesting.

I am loving all these cute Valentine's Day themed gifting ideas to make! You would not be able to find stuff like this in the stores. It's too specific. They'd lose money if they didn't sell it all. So they don't really offer this kind of thing! How fun is it to make for yourself? It's even cute for your little girl, all winter long, even with the hearts and the pink color.
