I like this outlander cowl for its colors and stitches used. It's all half double crochets and it's easy to make. The size is also perfect on the neck area.

I have to admit, as much as I love historical fiction, I have yet to see the Outlander series. I scarcely have time to watch TV as it is. Even when I do have a new show on, Im usually busy with a chore or some other project and rarely give the TV my full attention. Like the designer of this cowl, I freely admit to being inspired by yarn crafts on other shows. Call the Midwife has sent me on many searches for patterns.

Okay, LOVE Outlander, LOVE chunky patterns. This one's a winner. ...But maybe I'll wait to make it when it starts getting cold out again.
