Etching Scarf

search

"The Etching Scarf is Tunisian crochet made with Lion brand Scarfie yarn. The mitered squares are made first then the triangles are added later. The gradient yarn makes the squares look like they are shaded in by etched lines with the darker triangles. Even though this is Tunisian crochet it is made in such a way that you can still use a regular hook. It took me 2 nights to make this scarf and then with the added 2 nights for blocking this makes a great last minute gift."

Anytime I stumble across a pattern that uses the Tunisian Stitch, I just have to investigate it. I love the Argyle look of this scarf, and despite what the husband says, I vote YES on the tassels, especially the fat ones like the designer uses. This is one pattern Im setting aside to work on after the New Year because it deserves my full attention. Im going to experiment with other colors to achieve a true Argyle look.
