Chasing Rainbows Cowl
"Quick and easy to crochet this is a beginner friendly project! Choose a pretty variegated yarn or a solid color and sit back and let the simple stitch pattern take over while you sit and relax while watching your favorite show on Netflix. After R2 is complete it is a matter of continuing the stitches around and around until you either run out of yarn ;) or you reach the height you want for your cowl. The finished fabric is super stretchy and lightweight, easy to wear in spring and fall as well as the colder winter days with your coat."

So, so simple to create, this rainbow cowl. It is just a series of single crochet plus chain 3 then single crochet. When you proceed to the next round your single crochet is worked into the chain from the row below. You will have a stretchy and fairly open weave. I imagine this can be worked using a black, white, and gray color scheme for a much more traditional look. I love this!

I love how very colorful and bright this cowl is. A pop of color is welcome year round. Although I dont need that many, I like the concept of the scarf of the month CAL. The designer states that gauge is not very important on this beginner scarf, but I found that using a size G crochet hook gave me the best results.
