Crochet Gauge15 double crochet per 4 inches. After 12 rows, the triangle size is approximately 6 1/2 inches wide X 7 1/5 inches long. However, gauge is not crucial for this project. Additionally, changes in yarn or crochet hook may affect the finished size. .

Finished SizeFinished size: 62 inches long X 60 inches wide. this can be adjusted by adding or decreasing rows.

Instructions

Pattern Notes: Once the first 12 rows are complete, the pattern consists of a repeat of rows 5-12 until you reach the desired size. Each row will increase by 2 stitches.

  1. Begin CH 4

  2. Row 1: 2 DC in the 3rd CH from the hook. Turn (3 DC)

  3. Row 2: CH 3, DC in the next ST, 3 DC in the last ST. Turn (5 DC)

  4. Row 3: CH 3, 2 DC in the same ST, DC in the remaining Sts. Turn (7 DC)

  5. Row 4: CH 3, DC in the next ST and in each ST across to the last, 3 DC in the last ST. Turn (9 DC)

  6. Row 5: CH 4, (counts as 1 DC and CH here and throughout pattern). DC in the same ST. [CH 1, SK 1, DC in next ST] repeat between [ ] across. Turn (6 DC)

  7. Row 6: CH 4, DC in the next DC [CH 1, DC in next DC] repeat between [ ] across to last ST. (DC CH 1, DC) in last ST. Turn (7 DC)
