"Crochet Heart shaped Animal – the Seal Playing with a Ball. Make this adorable Seal Applique from crocheted hearts. Crochet hearts according to instruction and then just sew hearts together in shape of the animal! It is easy and fun to make and the result is very cute! Abbreviations: Ch – chain DC – double crochet Rnd - round SC- single crochet Sl St – slip stitch St (Sts) – stitch (stitches) Finished Size: Seal is about 2-1/4" wide and 3-1/4" tall (including a ball). Materials: - cotton crochet thread size 3 in olive green, pink and black - cotton crochet thread size 10 in green - crochet hook 1/2.75 mm - crochet hook size 6/1.8 mm"

This crochet seal applique pattern is adorable and to think it was constructed with a few simple heart shapes. What the imagination can think of. This item would be cute as a zipper pull on those book bags that will be coming back into play in the near future.

What this designer can do with simple hearts just amazes me! Youll have to be content with the instructions on this page as the link leads to a blank page under construction. Fortunately, the appliqu is simple enough that the single photo on this page should be able to guide how to layer the various hearts to make the project.

It's the entire pattern and again just basic hearts made into things. I just made an owl using a heart base. It came out so cute. I use things like these for embellishments on my hand crochet purses. It really gives them a cute whimsical look. I just make them up and toss them into my craft box until I need them

I havent worked this pattern yet, but is the pattern as shown on this page the instructions in their entirety? The link to get the free pattern does not work and takes you to a 404 error page. I see no one else has commented yet so not sure if others are experiencing the same issues?
