"I have been working on some hat designs while sitting on the beach. I decided to design another hat after one of those adorable beanies that we are seeing in every store and claw machine on the boardwalk. Icy the White Seal was the inspiration for my Seal Hat."
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook, J/10 or 6 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

When my eldest daughter was about six years old, she found out about Canadian seal hunts and the efforts to stop the practice. She was so affected that she wanted to send her entire allowanceall of 50 cents per weekto whatever organization was requesting funds. She received a lot of seal toys for Christmas that year. She would have loved this adorable hat!

It's been a while since I have seen an animal beanie as adorable as this one. Unisex, too. Talk about something that you could make for a children's hospital as a charity project for the holidays! Did you know that you could add ear flaps to this if you so desire? Totally do not need it, though!
