Timeless Boho Beanie

search

"The Timeless Boho Beanie is a fun and fashionable hat! Made with the traditional granny stitch, but with a large hook for big stitches and a quick project. It’s made with Red Heart Treasure yarn for a handspun look and feel, from the bottom up, brim to the crown, and in the round. The granny stitch is so on trend again and is a favorite stitch of many crocheters, you’ll want to make it again and again."

Between the large L hook size and the gorgeous yarn, this open work hat is one of the prettiest Ive seen for such a simple project. This hat is worked from the bottom up in continuous rounds, so keep your stitch markers handy. The crown is gathered (no decreases), and the brim worked onto the hat after the body is finished. I used a J instead of an L size hook for the brim because I wanted it to fit snuggly.

I love this! I'm trying to grow my hair out long and I love how the beanie draws attention to the long hair. Pretty colors!

Thanks for providing a nice, new beanie hat pattern to try! What a pretty hat to give as a gift. It's not fussy, on trend without being too much so, is a style that just about anyone can wear and will look good on, and it's only 65 yards of yarn! I could make two hats using one skein of yarn! Customize it by changing the button type and color.
