This dainty slouchie hat ticks all the boxes for me. Its easy to work up so its ideal for Beginners. You just work up a basic rectangle, fold it and seam it up, and then gather the top. Even the band is easy since its worked as part of the rectangle. The designer includes simple instructions and plenty of photos to check your work. Highly recommended!

Cute idea, cute name for this slouchy beanie. The color to me, looks just like strawberry milk! I would like the Caron Simply Soft yarn choice for this hat for the drape, stretch, and softness. The hat kinda looks like it is slightly too bulky. Jenny and Teddy create some very young and fresh designs!

This is the matching hat that goes with the sweetheart fluffy cowl made by the same designer / blogger. She has several free patterns available on her blog. This hat paired with the cowl makes an excellent gift for a loved one the coming Valentins day. Excellent tutorial and easy project.
