"Have you ever seen a Hat with a spider pom-pom? I have not and that's why I thought it was such a fun and creative way to dress up a hat and make it into a Halloween themed hat. The hat itself is very easy to make and has many notes and reference tables to provide guidance to make the hat for any size head. Adding a spider foam sticker to it makes the hat even more special."
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Our local major university just held their annual BugFestan amazing community event with live bugs, all sorts of creepy crawly crafts, a Bug Eating Contest and even a Flea Circus. The array of door prizes included donations from the community, and next year, this quirky little hat is going to be one of them. Im going to work one up for myself in Red Heart Glow Worm to wear out shopping this year.
