This is a cute hat, but it appears to be no longer available as a free pattern. When you click on the provided link at the splash page, you are directed to the authors Ravelry page for this project. The cost is now $2.00 for this pattern. However, if you scroll down a little, there IS an actual working link to the free pattern. Not sure why the winding path to get here.

This messy bun hat is so very cool to keep your head so very warm. This is such a cute and fun pattern add a matching scarf to get a perfect gift set. I plan on making a few of these sets for the kids in Sunday school that I teach. I think they will love it as much as I do.
