I made this hat and just love it. A friend saw it and also wanted one. Easy to follow and so very warm and comfortable. Be sure to try it on for the right tension and fit.

I am so glad that this pattern contains the measurements for this hat. I am now making a slouch hat from a different pattern, but am making it with lighter weight leftover yarn and the pattern does not give any dimensions. This is a cute hat too but just too bulky for me.

Very beautiful hat, but looks a bit thick and bulky to wear hear in South Florida. I do love making quick gifts to send to my friends in the North though, so this will be going on my to make list for sure. Cant wait to see how it turns out.

Chunky yarn and big hooks makes for fast work. If you are like me and have a small head, be sure and check your gauge. Easy, straight forward pattern. Third loop stitch tutorials are readily available. Good photos for this pattern. Some viewers are a little confused about the pdf converter. Non-pdf are below the converter. Nice classy look.

There's a matching set to wear this winter, with this rustic slouch hat in addition to the cowl. It's a very trendy look when you wear a matching hat and scarf. This yarn is very soft, too. I like the ribbing detail inbetween the rows. Also, the pattern detail leaves nothing to the imagination. She gives us plenty of pics of the work as we go along.

I can't download this pattern. I've downloaded the converter but nothing is happening. Any suggestions. Oh, and congratulations on your new arrival.

Hi Member, There is no converter to download. To access this pattern, simply click on "Click here for this free crochet pattern" right below the photo of the hat. Beautiful. Thank you

I can't really get away with slouch hats (in my opinion) because I have short hair. However, I think they're super cute and the button embellishment really makes the finishing touch.

Sure you can get away with it I have short hair am 63 and wear Slouch hats all the time..

I'm definitely adding this to my "to do" list. Super cute, love the little button detail!
