"A warm slouchy hat, worked from the brim to the crown in rounds, this eliminates sewing seams and gives a nice finish, it’s an easy stitch to memorize and can be made in a day, I have used buttons to decorate the brim, but this is optional. This is definitely an easy hat to work up, and the oversized buttons really make the project! I have to confess though, that I tend to shy away from Brim Upward because I have problems matching the sides of the rows to the proper number of stitches for the body of the hat. I have the same issue when working a border around a washcloth, too, so Im sure the problem is with me, not the designer.

Uber cute star buttons. Great embellishment for this easy slouchy hat. The colors are very warm and inviting. A great accessory to have in case of an emergency such as a bad hair day. I just saw the blue version of this hat also with its little flue stars. I think I am into that color better. Looks great.
