You can actually make the pom pom removable for washing? Never would I have thought of this myself. I love the look of this hat. I would like to choose a color just a little bit more on the taupe or mushroom side, as it would be an even closer match to Miss Kim's actual hat. I be by wearing this that I would get a lot of compliments and people wanting to order one of these from me!

Aww, too bad! This is such a cute chunky ski hat! I can only guess the reason why the link cannot be found is due to copyright infringements or something like that. Probably cannot use her name in the pattern title. I hope she gets it back up and running, soon. I'll be checking back periodically.

Hi princess, Sorry about that! This was added before the weekend, and then it looks like the blogger changed the URL over the weekend, meaning I didn't get a chance to update this until this morning. The link should be good now! :) Julia, AFC editor

Well, I can see Im not the only one who gets distracted by yarn work that shows up on TV shows (and movies, too)). Im still trying to chase down Ruby Sues Nordic hat from Christmas Vacation. I thought Chloes hat might be official Olympic gear since Ive seen a few other teammates with the same chunky hat. I couldnt find it, but this pattern is a great substitute.

Went to the site for the pattern, it said error 404 chunky hat can't be found.

I just tried it and found the same thing. You get to the designer's page, but it's a list of links to other projects. Unless she has this hat listed under another name, it's not there yet.
