The Cabled Messy Bun Hat is a great project that is fun for all skill levels. If you've never crocheted cables before, there are several video tutorials included to help you successfully crochet this hat! Sizes included in this written pattern are: Toddler, Child, Teen / Adult Small & Adult Medium / Large. There is a video tutorial companion included that helps work the project from beginning to end."

Ive worked several different cabled projects, but this is one of the simplest Ive come across. I liked it so well that I pinched a few of the cable sections to work into a cocoon for yet another grandchild. The original project was cabled, but I liked the look of the cables on the hat much better, and the extra Front Post stitches separating the cables adds an extra dimension.
