"Trick or treat! With Halloween just around the corner I wanted to create some adorable decorated treat containers for my son and to hand out to trick or treaters too (we don’t get that many!). I used my son’s mashem containers for the container part as we had many laying around the house! These are so adorable and would make a great gift filled with your favorite treats!"

What a clever idea for Halloween party favors. The designer uses specific treat containers, but I think this would be a great way to repurpose those plastic Easter eggs. Those pesky things have a way of turning up no matter what time of year. Just set each piece (top and bottom) with a dab of hot glue to secure the crochet work to the plastic.
