Rag Quilt Baby Hat and Booties

"The Rag Quilt Baby Hats and Booties were designed to match the Rag Quilt Style Baby Blanket. There are three sizes available for the hats AND three sizes available for the booties! As the baby grows, so does his/her accessories. It's like six patterns in one! I've also included an alternative to the ruffle border on the hats and booties if you think it's too feminine. The pattern is easy and all of the items work up quickly. The stitches you need to know are slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and double crochet 2 together (dc2tog)."

Ive already started working on the Rag Quilt baby blanket for a new grand niece, so I was thrilled to find this hat and matching booties! Both the hat and booties take very little yarn, so I should have more than enough leftover from the blanket. The baby is due in about a month, so I still have plenty of time to add these sweet little items to the blanket.

I clicked on this pattern because the name was intriguing to me. I think the matching baby blanket is VERY original in design. I've never seen anything like it. Now, the caps and booties that coordinate with it complete the picture. These would be ideal charity gifts for the NICU in hospitals and for the new moms.
