"Is there anything quite as nostalgic as the smell of hot cocoa? The smell takes me back to when I was just a little girl and my mum would make my brother and myself each a warm mug, filled to the brim, as we enjoyed a snuggly evening in the fort we had just built from a mountain of blankets and pillows. Recently I was feeling a bit sentimental and decided to whip up this quirky pair of Cocoa Baby Ankle Booties, inspired by the warm tones on display every Autumn!"

As always, Hopeful Honey give us a simply stunning pattern. The pattern is downloadable and will open in a separate window for you. The booties look like they are professionally made! When I make up a pair of baby booties, I don't know why, but I feel so accomplished! I have so many projects I want to get started on. These look simple to do.

These easy little cocoa baby ankle booties totally have the aww factor. They look like little mini Ugg boots and who doesnt love cocoa? Thank you so much for the pattern for these adorable booties. They look simple enough to make and a good project to use up some extra yarn.

These are great for boys or girls and they look quick to stitch up. I'd like to add some colored french knots on top to make them look like little moccasin booties. The big button makes a nice decorative touch too. I'm going to make these with a soft yarn so they're cozy.

These booties are a great gender-neutral option for an upcoming baby shower. I especially love the little button detail!
