Mandala 2

"This fun mandala combines treble stitches with simple chains and single crochets to create this pretty design. I chose to use 3 colors for my sample but this design would look great in one color up to nine different colors. With the different color options you have to choose from, this beautiful Mandala or Doily pattern will make a fun stash busting project! What will you it for? It'll make a beautiful wall art decoration or side table cover."

The bright primary colors and floral design of this mandala make me think of a fiesta! At 11 inches across, this would make a great placemat for Cinco de Mayo, Dia de los Muertos, or any other celebration. Keeping with the primary color scheme, it would be wonderful for a childs birthday party, too. It would be easy to match balloons with this one.

I would like to see this mandala done up in the full nine colors (because it has nine rounds, silly). There's something really eclectic about using a variety of seemingly uncoordinated colors that still somehow work together. A cool idea for your mandala click in into an an embroidery hoop and display as a fabulous wall hanging.
