My oldest cat loves to sit in a paper box that was delivered to our home. The box will soon be torn up so I am going to crochet this pattern for him. This will be my first pattern I have made for one of my pets.

Well, this certainly beats the nearest shoe box our Priscilla was always trying to squeeze into! I love the braided look and even though we currently dont have a cat, I can certainly use this handy basket. Or fill it with cat toys and treats for your favorite kitty parent. Ill be seeing my sister in a month or so, and this would make the perfect gift for her Frankie.

This is so neat. I have a friend with two cats that she travels a lot with. She would really get some use out of this. It's so easy to make too. And you can find the size S hook at Amazon or Lions site. It's actually a size 35. Hope that helps.

Did anyone have any luck finding a size S hook? If so where?

I bought mine at a larger Michael's store. Comes in a multi pack, and it's plastic. http//www.michaels.com/needles-and-hooks/crochet-h == ooks/809187850?afsrc=1utmsource=CJutmmedium=375566 == 8utmcampaign=11790304cmmmc=Affiliate--CJ--3755668- == -11790304affSource=375566811790304

This is cute, and it is so quick to make too! Only 15 rounds to complete it. It is bigger than it looks in the picture. I wish I had more floor space. If I did, I would make two of them so my cats didnt have to fight over it.

where the heck can I find a Size S crochet hook? Everything I see only goes up to Q -/

Hi luvastandardbred, I would poke around online if the stores you're looking at aren't carrying the hook. :) Amazon is always a good resource, but you can also try the main craft stores (Michael's, Joann's, and Hobby Lobby). :) I hope that helps! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet
