"Does your dog love to sit on the couch with you? Tired of the hair left on the couch? This dog blanket is to help cover your couch to protect it from your dog and it's hair (not a foolproof way to prevent hair since it is crochet but it is a big help). This blanket is made with really soft yarn - Bernat Blanket Yarn. The blanket is made of mainly double crochet stitches."

OMG I love this Crochet Dog Blanket/Couch Cover! This is a simple but well needed blanket for my home. The yarn she used is great and my dog loves it, it's so soft and warm. The Bernat Big Ball Blanket Yarn is the way to go for my fur baby. What a nice way to help keep the sofa or chair clean. The written pattern is well done and so easy to whip up and I know when mine is finished my pup will love napping on her blanket. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet blanket pattern.

What a cute blanket. I really like it. It's so easy because it's basic stitches. It isn't so much to keep hairs off my sofa because my dog doesn't shed. He is a hypoallergenic breed. It's more about his need to have a snuggle blanket. He loves to roll on one or play on it!
